Used FPE Cidersure 5500 UV Treatment / Pasteurization enclosure

Item is a gently used Cidersure 5500, manufactured by FPE. Unit was purchased in April of 2022, and is in practically brand new condition. The Cidersure is FPE’s UV Treatment Equipment is specifically designed and Pre-Validated for the pasteurization of Apple Cider. The Cidersure product line has been a crucial technology for the Cider Industry as an alternative to Thermal Pasteurization. FPE’s unique technology use thin-film, turbulence, and sophisticated monitoring and controls software to deliver and maintain proper UV dosage to the fluid being treated. FPE invented the first UV equipment to be FDA approved for beverage pasteurization.

The 5500 model has flow rate controls, is a rolling cabinet that stands on the floor, has a larger pump and other more a powerful UV dosage, and has the maximum throughput of 300 GPH. This unit has built in data logging and reporting features, and meets FDA Food Safety Requirements for the Pasteurization of Apple Cider.

New cost for this machine in Mid 2022 was approx $45,000.
